When things go bad, never be depressed. Dark clouds are always temporary, it might either rain after that or the wind will blow it away. Guess whats next? Yup! Either it will be a bright sunny day or u will catch the sight of a beautiful colourful rainbow. So never be despaired over things that bring you down.
Just like what it said in one of the journal below..THE BEST WAY TO KILL YOUR ENEMY IS WITH KINDNESS. Why? Because you have nothing to lose. The past few months, I have people saying things so bad about me on FB, emails. But I chose to ignore and let it be. Result was....IM STILL THE HAPPY PERSON and I realised that Im not the victim here but those people are. Victim of their own doing.The comment I received from others..."Ellie what is wrong with this person? Your existence must be driving people NUTS & CRAZY".. My only reply is always SILENCE and SMILE.
Because Allah has replaced all these "suppose to be a let down demotivating thingy" with something wonderful. Just like the song by Bobby Darin- This Could Be A Start of Something Big. He sent me a wonderful guy whom soon going to be my husband, He gave me more "rezeki" in my Chocolate Chip Muffin business, my work is getting better at the office, my son has no more asthma attack, my cancer is recovering...what more can I ask Him .Can never thank Him enough for the joy He gave me when others are trying hard to bring me down.
Yesterday I gave a suggestions to my whole Marketing Team and my CEO was so happy with the suggestions, and today I received an email from my Big Boss and the email simply brightened up my day at work.
The first time, I replied to his first email for complimenting on my idea, "thank you sir for believing in me and that i will help the marketing the best way I can. And this was his reply that really lifted me up:
Elina,
Believing in you?..I believe you when I first saw you and interviewed you to join us, remember? Lets go do things that would make a change......
It might be a short email but that email, when it comes from my Big Boss...it really means a lot to me. It makes me want to work harder for the company. When you make someone's day(or moment) through a small kindness or unforgettable engagement, you can turn even routine encounters into a special memories.
So lastly, when you look for the worst you will find it everywhere. When you learn you have the power to choose your response to what life brings, you can look for the best and find opportunities you never imagine possible. If you find yourself with an attitude that is not what you want it to be, you can choose a new one.
So to the followers of my journal, ENJOY LIFE, LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE MISERY...we never know when we kick the bucket...have a pleasant day. Cheers!
